I am a Social Science Research Fellow in the Department of Medicine (Primary Care and Population Health) at Stanford University, part of the Geldsetzer Lab. I am also a Visiting Fellow at the Department of Methodology at London School of Economy and Political Science.

My current research examines the causal effects of vaccines on long-term health outcomes, with a focus on dementia. I work with large electronic patient records, using methods such as regression discontinuity designs, propensity score matching, and difference-in-differences designs to identify effects that are difficult to establish through conventional study designs.

My other research interests lie in political and electoral behaviour in developing democracies, with a regional focus on Sub-Saharan Africa. I study topics including electoral integrity, the political consequences of natural disasters, and the effects of foreign aid on voting behaviour. Across both fields, I use a range of approaches - from field experiments and descriptive analyses to quasi-experimental designs - depending on what the research question demands.

My research has been published in the British Journal of Political Science and the Journal of Development Economics.

Before joining Stanford University, I was a post-doctoral fellow at LSE and at Royal Holloway University. I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Government at LSE.
